Synchronizing clock impossible
Hello
Following a time difference detected between my computers, I found one of them is synchronizing with the server over the Internet.
For some time I can no longer possible to synchronize the clock on my computer (Windows XP Pro). All other computers synchronize except one, which excludes the router and modem.
On this computer, I always receive the message "error when syncing with windows ..." and that whatever time the server used with or without a firewall.
I searched on the forum and on the Internet and I found nothing for me troubleshoot.
Your ideas are welcome.
Thank you in advance
Re: Synchronizing clock impossible
I had it but also to walk me that by changing the server. It's 'clock.isc.org' now, any chance ..
Re: Synchronizing clock impossible
Thank you, but it does not.
I tried a whole list of servers without success.
I think something disturbed in my computer that is more file server for others.
It is also the only XP Pro, the other is XP home and synchronize without problems on the Internet.
Re: Synchronizing clock impossible
So nobody knows the detailed operation of setting the time via the Internet to help me?
Re: Synchronizing clock impossible
verified that the "clock windows" is a good start and automatic
verify that:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ W32Time \ Parameters]
Type="NTP" "Type" = "NTP"
