USB Receiver & Snowflake Emulation
I have Windows XP with SP3. I recently installed a new All in Wonder graphics card and ati catalyst. A usb receiver to use with the remote control came with the package. If I plugged the receiver into a Usb Port, windows cannot find a driver, either in Windows, or Internet or CD, and I will get an unknown device error in the device manager that says "Snowflake Emulation". Does anyone know about a solution for Windows XP Media Center for this issue? Thanks.
Re: USB Receiver & Snowflake Emulation
For all the Usb Devices, you need to install the software for it first before you connect it to the hardware. So, disconnect the USB receiver and then find the software first and install it. After that attach the receiver only when the software tells you to do so.
Re: USB Receiver & Snowflake Emulation
Thanks for the reply, I jabe checked that the software is already installed.
Re: USB Receiver & Snowflake Emulation
Have you tried to check the ATI support website and see if they have some patches for same.
Re: USB Receiver & Snowflake Emulation
