Net Send Computer Message Command
I am trying to use net send command to contact some computer on the lan. But it is not working nor it gives any error on my screen saying problem with net send. I was using this from long time on different computers to communicate. But not it does not looks to be working wll. I am trying to send the command using ip address and this would be far more easier for the users to check my message.
Re: Net Send Computer Message Command
This kind of problem only occur if the messenger server is not working. It is disabled. You have to go in Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. In that look for messenger right click on that and enable it. You will have to do the same for all client systems on the network. And then only it is going to work well. I am giving you a link that has more detailed solution on your problem.
The NET SEND command may not work correctly on a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2
