Word help PLEASE?!!?

I opened a file from my online class, completed the assignment, hit save and then closed. I have no idea where it saved!!! If you save a file from an internet site doesn't it go to a temporary folder some where?

I tried a search but came up with nothing. Any other suggestions??

Most probably it will be saved in MY DOCUMENTS folders.
otherwise it will be saved where you have last saved your word documents
or also you can checked by opening MICROSOFT WORD>CLICK FILES>at the bottom you will see most recent documents.hope it will help you.

I assume you searched for the assignment name using the search box after clicking the Start button?

Then you right clicked on the file name that the search found and selected "Open file location" ???

A PowerPoint presentation will be saved as a file qualified with the .ppt or .pptx (PowerPoint 2007) file extension. Can you view other .ppt or .pptx files?

After the search finds the file, can you double click on the file in the search results window to open it?
