P4 2.54 GHz,Mercury PI845GML-P Version 6 M/B

Hi,

I have a assembled PC, P4 2.54 GHz,Mercury PI845GML-P Version 6 M/B. Currently I have 2 DDR RAM 256 MB + 512 MB.(333 MHz).
I think it will only support 333 Mhz Speed RAM, not 400Mhz


How can I upgrade it to DDR2 RAM. Does it need to change the M/B.
I want to use the same P4 2.54Ghz.

I suggest you to change motherboard ,BIOSTAR P4M900M4 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard is the best option for you it has the Socket 478 with DDR2 that is also compatible with your CPU.

U need to change mobo+proccy +RAM

Get AMD x2 4800+-3k
Asus M2AMX-2.1K
2g RAm-1.8K

total 7K

G ot more money then get Intel E7200 with Gigabyte P31 or P35 w ith 2gb RAM total cost 10.5 or 11. 5K
