Product key for Office 2003
I am running Office 2003 fully activated on my Old Windows XP desktop. Recently I bought a new MSI laptop that came with Vista and Office 2007 TRAIL pre-installed. I don’t want to use the Trail, neither 2007. What I want to do is move the Office 2003 from my old computer to this ne laptop, obviously after removing the Trail 2007.
But the problem is I have the Office 2003 installation Disk but I lost the Product key. Tried to find out but dint found it anywhere. I guess i had saved it on my email but I lost the mail as well. Is there any way I can recover the product keys from the installed machine and use it on this new laptop ?
Re: Product key for Office 2003
If you have the installation CD and Office already installed/activated on any machine then you don’t need to worry. You can easily recover the product key from your old system. You just need to use some third party key finder programs like Belarc Advisor or magic JellyBean. This will help you locate the keys installed on your system. Just Google with their names and you will get the download links.

Yeah, that is correct. When I lost my keys and required it badly to install Office on different system, I use the Magical JellyBean itself to recover the license keys. It is very effective. I don’t think there is any alternate way to find out the keys as they are stored in the registry and use to be encrypted. We just cannot get them manually.

If still you are facing problem with locating product keys than you can simply contact Microsoft on their email addresses or phone numbers . Explain them your situation that you have the purchased CD but lost the keys. They may give you another license key for (I guess) few dollars.
