Server error 2012
Can anyone give me some pointers to track down the cause of:
Event id 2012
"While transmitting or receiving data, the server encountered a network
error. Occassional errors are expected, but large amounts of these indicate a
possible error in your network configuration. The error status code is
contained within the returned data (formatted as Words) and may point you
towards the problem."
This is relatively new in my environment of Windows 2003 servers. It occurs
on all servers and is not fixed by a NIC driver upgrade.
Recommendations?

Re: Server error 2012
In most cases, Event ID 2012 is network connectivity issue. If all servers
have the receive the same error, I would check the switches or DNS/WINS
settings. This search result may help too.
Troubleshooting Windows Event IDEvent ID: 2011 - Not enough server storage
is available to process this command. Event ID 2012 - The server has
encountered a network error ...

Since it happens on all the servers it is not likely a single Nic, so...
Bad network infrastructure:
Bad switch ports
Bad [whole] switch
Bad Cable between nearest switch and other switches [back bone cable]
Bad Patch Panel Port or a bad "punch" of a key cable
Interferrence induced into a cable such as EM Radiation from Power
Lines/Cables or things such as light network cables running over Fluorescent
Lights.
Then there are things like Auto-Negotiation of Wire Speed on the Nic and
Switch Ports not behaving well.
