We got quite a lot of information on new products at the FCC, but didn’t manage to get much information regarding Sony’s Cyber-shot DSC-G3, well apart from some technical drawings.
But we know that the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-G3 will be released pretty soon, and with a camera which we reckon is going to boasts, 802.11 b/g WiFi, a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen and probably storage of more than 2GB, not forgetting a range like Sony’s T500 of around 10.1 megapixels.
Sony launches Cyber-shot DSC-G3
After his Kodak EasyShare One, with the Nikon Coolpix S610c, and with his Canon Ixus Wireless is Sony's turn to be tempted by the integration of a Wi-Fi on a compact.
Its Cyber-shot DSC-G3 will use the wireless connectivity for transferring photos from a Wi-Fi, public or private. And novelty compared to models previously mentioned: it will also have a browser that will give it access to key sites to share images and videos that include Dailymotion, Picasa, Shutterfly and YouTube.
The browser starts simply from the "Wlan" at the back of the case, while it is then possible from sharing sites referred to send notifications by email to our contacts to warn of the presence of new content.
