explorer.EXE 0x00255516 memory can't be read error
Everytime I am getting the above message that keeps popping up when I cancel or ok it. I know that it could be a virus issue because that is all the virus protection people do by making a new virus for us to buy more of their products. Even though with all the protection that I have run, and all the precautions that I am taking, I am still getting them. Any ideas?
RE: explorer.EXE 0x00255516 memory can't be read error
As per the error message, you seem to have some memory issues. So, with computer unplugged, try to move the memory to other slots and check what happens next. You can even start the pc and press F8 at startup, select safe mode adn then enter Windows XP as admin, after that right click on my computer > properties > advanced > performance > virtual memory > change button > set C: to "let system manage" and then click set 2X, close and restart the computer.

Try to disable all the internet explorer add-ons and see if that works. For more information visit this website - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883256

Try to check the event logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP and see what does it report. Event logs can help you identify and diagnose the source of current system problems, or help you predict potential system problem.
