Can't send email to myself in Gmail on Windows Vista
I had installed Windows Vista on my system. I'm using Gmail account in order to access my emails over the internet. The problem is that i'm unable to send email to myself. However, it can be seen in the Sent Items folder, but i'm unable to receive it. Can any body tell me that why i'm having such problem on my pc? Why i can't receive email which i try to send it, myself? Does any body knows about it? Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue.

According to my best of knowledge some ISPs doesn't allow you to send email to your self. And Gmail seems to be one of them, which doesn't allow any user to send email to theirselves.

I think you can only send email to yourself, by adding up another email program such as yahoo, Thunderbird etc. with your Gmail account. Then try to open up the settings page and then choose Forwarding and POP/IMAP on it, and then select to Enable IMAP. This will help you to send an email to your self using your Gmail account.
