Re: Cmos battery failure error messages
The scandisk is useless. This is not a disk or system problem , but a problem of BIOS values. definately, your CMOS battery is dead and when you shuts down the PC , it can no longer maintains the values of bios , you should think He should think about changing it altogether.it is present on the motherboard
Re: Cmos battery failure error messages
Regarding the "CMOS checksum error", it is a failure of the battery located on your motherboard , you should replace it as soon as possible , The problem is simple: the CMOS data containing the BIOS has been reset and the computer must have returned to factory settings.
Re: Cmos battery failure error messages
It is a warning concerning a failure of the CMOS battery (which guarantees the preservation of BIOS settings even when the computer is off). you need to replace the bios battery , the problem is certainly due to the fact that the CMOS battery is dead or empty
