I have bought this brand new laptop which came preinstalled with vista home premium. So I created another partition and did a dual boot with Windows XP. So I did a search on compaq website for its drivers, and to my surprise there werent any drivers listed for it. So can anyone give me a link or so for the compaq presario cq60 zp drivers? Thank you
What drivers you need? If you want nvidia drivers then download the recently released drivers for laptop graphics,they are beta but may work well for you:

If it still doesnt installs then try to force install it using device manager.
How to Force Install
- Go to device manager and right click unknown vga device, update driver.
- Dont have it auto search.
- Select dont search, i will choose the driver.
- Select Display adapters, choose the have disk button, navigate to the extracted folder and choose nvac.inf
It will give you a list of models, there are 2 geforce 8200's in the list. Click the first one in the list and hit next/ok or whatever. It will give you the continue anyway option, proceed through it.

1. Download driver, double click and select extract,

Can you give us the vendor id and device id to identify your model like for an example Device Manager --> Details --> Device Instance Id VEN_10EC&DEV_8139 would translate into Realtek RTL8139 NIC.
nvidia drivers now work out of the box...be sure to install the nforce drivers...get the latest...and then install the nvidia display driver...no need for any modded inf or hack..just download from the nvidia website
