SSD upgrade for Alienware 14 laptop
Want some advice on ssd upgrade for Alienware 14 system. This one comes with a Intel HM87 Express Chipset, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M graphic card, 750GB Sata Drive and 8GB Dual Channel DDR3L ram. I want a SSD upgrade advice for the same. It already has ample of storage. Still I think my system is not working really fast. I am looking for better performance. Here I am thinking of getting a SSD on the same.
Re: SSD upgrade for Alienware 14 laptop
You already have a very good system and I do not really think you need a SSD upgrade for the same. But still if you want you can contact Dell for the same. You can add a 64GB SSD on the same. That will be enough. You can install your games on the same and the system will work fine. Usually in regular SATA drive the speed depend on the rpm. If you have a low rpm drive then the system will still function slow.
Re: SSD upgrade for Alienware 14 laptop
For desktop getting a ssd is cheaper, but when it comes to laptop then budget is high. Also you do not have much chances about having a high storage. If the SSD is not available then you cannot buy it from the local shop. Another thing you have to check that your laptop must have a slot empty for adding one more drive. If not then you cannot upgrade it. So it is good to contact dell and ask their customer about the same.
