Windows Vista Home Premium does not configure the network
Recently, I had purchased a machine that came with Windows Vista Home Premium
Use as a oninet ISP, and I have a Dlink-300 modem to share the internet to 2 computers bought a router but no modem. I hooked up the modem to the router and put it to automatically acquire IP pcs. The xp and has worked without problems, also called a laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic and worked without any problem, now the new PC with Windows Vista Home Premium does not work for or anything, so recognizes local connection but can not detect any the other computers and vice versa. Also I tried a manual ips but it is always without net and without access to the sites. If I connect the modem directly to it, it automatically acquires the ip and works in perfectly ..
What should I do??
Re: Windows Vista Home Premium does not configure the network
I too am having this same problem, it seems to me is that Home Premium does not have all the configuration options for wireless network, for this reason I am thinking of switching to the Ultimate.
Re: Windows Vista Home Premium does not configure the network
Windows Vista Home is not good in network, many colleagues have told me this, it is best to install Windows Vista Ultimate, or stay with the same XP.
