Internet Explorer wiped out all bookmarks after update
I had updated my web browser. I was using a old one. But after update there is a new problem. I am not able to find any of my bookmarks. There were more than 30 websites stored in different folder. And once the update was over I thought things will be restored. But the browser just deleted all my bookmarks. I am stuck with the issue here. Can I restore my web browser back to the old settings. I wants my bookmarks back.
Re: Internet Explorer wiped out all bookmarks after update
You cannot restore them. Once they are gone you have to mark them back again. Most f the time when you update the browser it does not delete your addon or bookmarks. They are simply restored back again. But if they are gone then the browser is re-installed. You can try system restore which might help you in fixing the issue. But there is no guarantee that you can get your browser back again.
Re: Internet Explorer wiped out all bookmarks after update
You must always sync the browser with something so that when you had updated or re-installed things can be restored. I am using Xmarks here. It is really nice addon through which you can get your addon back very instantly. You just have to sign up with your email id and done. Once you install that on any other browser the bookmarks are stored automatically. It is the best way to save your bookmarks.
