There isnt any mobile name released by Micromax as such with model name Micromax QC apart from the Micromax Q5C. So are you sure that the micromax model no./name of the device for which you are asking the pc suite is the correct device or a china made mobile phone or so? Even the Micromax Q5C doesnt include pc connection with the help of a pc suite, search on the manufacturer website, you will come to know.

I think Gonzo has made some mistake in understanding it properly. Anyways, you can download the Micromax PC Suite for your Q5 mobile phone from the third post of this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/portable-devices/1330735.htm. There is also the step by step installation process to assist you better. Try the below steps to connect your phone to your pc:
- Insert your cd in your pc cd drive that came with the phone
- Double click "install driver.exe"
- Then double click "midisyn.exe" which is in the Q5 phone suite folder
- Double click "PhoneSuite.exe"
- Connect your phone to the pc with com port not as mass storage or web cam but as com port the last option
- Once the pc suite is upen, you can see that the phone is not connected right???? Ok now follow these steps carefully
- On the left hand side of the pc suite you can see phonebook messages settings images and so on etc
- Now go to the settings, under setings you can see general, dial up and so on
- Under general select the mobile phone as 320x240 and the com port as com13
- Now you are done and your phone is connected.

I think the file that you are trying to install might be corrupted or partly downloaded, so therefore it might be giving error at the time of installation. In any case try to again download the Micromax Q5 phone suite from here and extract the content with a tool called winrar and then try to install it on your pc.Quote:
