Beetel 450tc1 - Wifi Led Off / Ssid Not Showing
Hi,
I am using Beetel 450TC1 for MTNL delhi broadband. I was using this modem for 1 year but now suddenly wireless is not working. Here's my analysis :
1) Wifi LED is off in modem. Also, its not lighting up during start of modem, like other LAN LEDs.
2)Wireless tab is not coming in interface setup page when I logged in modem using 192.168.1.1.
3)Consequently my SSID is not showing up in wireless networks.
4)I have reset the modem but still problem not solved yet.
5)Internet is working through LAN wire connection.
6)All other LEDs are lighting except Wifi one.
Can anybody let me know what can be done in this case? I think my modem's wireless function is fried.
Regards.
R.
Re: Beetel 450tc1 - Wifi Led Off / Ssid Not Showing
Try to configure the Beetel 450TC1 wifi router again and see if that works:
- First of all reset the router to factory setting(small button on the lower side of the router).
- After that go to LAN IPv4 setting and select "Obtain an IP address automatically". Go to 198.162.1.1.
- Now go to Interface Setup > Internet > Encapsulation > ISP select "bridge mode" and then go to Interface Setup > LAN > DHCP select "disabled".
- After that go to N/W adapter -> Properties -> Configure -> Advance -> N/W Address, enter MAC address. Use same MAC address on every device while configuring.
- Change IPv4 IP, gateway, subnets and DNS according to your ISP configurations BUT change last digit of IP address. For Example on PC use IP "10.12.12.15" and on laptop use IP "10.12.12.16"
- Now you can log in with your account. Now you should be able to use it on other devices as well.
