In Adobe Reader X, spaces in url is %2520
I am using the Adobe Reader X and XI updates and I have noticed that if there are spaces in Urls then it gets encoded with %2520 intead of %20 which is causing problems when the links are used to open any particular webpage? I dont think any previous version of the Adobe Reader was having a similar kind of problem. Is this some kind of a bug or some other problem? Any ideas?

Can you please tell us which operating system have you installed in your computer? Also let us know the exact Adobe Reader version installed in your system by opening adobe reader and clicking on help > about. Were the pdfs made using the Acrobat PDFMaker or by using Adobe PDF Printer or by using any other third party application? Please report us back.
Re: In Adobe Reader X, spaces in url is %2520
Even I am facing this similar kind of problems. I have also contacted the Adobe support team but was told that I will have to pay for a support agreement to be solved. But I refused to take it because since this issue is faced by many people, so it is a bug in the adobe reader itself and until a latest patch that comes out to fix this problem I guess we cannot do anything else.
Re: In Adobe Reader X, spaces in url is %2520
I have found that this issue still exits in both 10.1.5 and 10.1.6 version of Adobe Reader. But I was able to find a solution to fix this problem. If we will disable the 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' by going into Edit > Preferences > General in Adobe X version then we can get rid of the spacing problem. Hope this helps someone out.
