Blackberry PlayBook 10 inch photos leaked
Photos of the next tablet of Research In Motion have been published on the Web.
While RIM plans to release a 4G model of its BlackBerry playbook and finalizes the next major update of its operating system that is BB OS 10, the Canadian could also unveil a 10-inch model of its tablet. The Vietnamese website Tinh Te, known for its many leaks, explains to have recovered one of these prototypes and published a series of shots.
The rumor is not new and was even half confirmed by the company. Interviewed at the Mobile World Congress in February, Christophe Lefort, director of RIM explained about it: "The 7 inch size is particularly appreciated by professionals and particularly within the business. In contrast to the consumer market that would make sense to actually go with the 10 inches."
The question is whether this next Playbook will indeed be offered for sale or not.
Re: Blackberry PlayBook 10 inch photos leaked
In the photos, it seems shows that this 10-inch Playbook has the same design as the present, with dimensions and form factor very similar to the iPad. Also with the 4G on its edge and a SIM card slot in its bottom confirms the improvement of connectivity. The big question is whether this new model is the advancement of something that is coming or just the flick of that possible Playbook 2 10-inch commented in 2011 that RIM seems to have abandoned.
