Vista password network ip
I am having a small network setup at my home. i have recently install windows Vista as my Operating system on one of my machine everything is working fine but as soon as i clicked on Vista machine i am getting an message as
Enter Network Password
You must supply a password to makes this connection
As per my knowledge i haven't setup any password for that machine. How come i am getting this message.

In that case try to follow the below steps:-
- Disable the Log On To Windows Domain Option.
- Log on to the Windows Vista with the local user accounts database of the Windows NT/2000/XP computer you are attempting to browse.
- Disable User-level Authentication on the Windows Vista.

I have try to follow the above steps but still getting same message thanks for replying me, does anyone has idea about it, please reply because your small information could help me a lot.

As you have said that once of your Operating system is having Windows 98 install on it and another one is Windows Vista you won't be able to see any data because Windows 98 doesn't support NTFS file system and i would suggest you to install Windows XP on it and try to use same username and password which you are using it in Windows Vista. I hope this should work for you.
