The E-410 and E-510 are the two new SLR digital Olympus. Respectively successors of E-400 and E-500, they have been for every day in order to paste the requirements of amateur experts and professionals! Both of these models has its specificity. The E-410 is the smallest digital SLR market while the E-510 is distinguished by its dual system of image stabilization. What guarantee sharp images in all circumstances.
For the rest, the E-410 and E-510 models are similar. They operate a sensor Live MOS 10 million pixels that we know from the E-330. Recall that this sensor produces shots at 4:3, in this case in 3648 x 2736 pixels, with very good quality and a mechanism for noise reduction effective. To avoid the unpleasant surprise of a missed shot because of dust on the sensor, Olympus also includes on its two recent models its supersonic wave filter.
The LCD (6.35 inches diagonally), placed at the rear of these devices is used only to make adjustments or view the photos, but to target the more need to paste the eye to the viewfinder! For optics, E-410 and E-510 come with an optical wide-angle Digital Zuiko 14-42 mm. A basic objective that will, without doubt, complete with another model as an option.
Other asset size of these two cameras: "shoot" of 7 frames per second burst. Of course, to enjoy the full speed, memory cards are needed fast. In this case, these boxes are compatible with those formats CompactFlash and xD-Picture Card that you need to buy more. Finally, the E-410, the model "least powerful", offers 32 scene modes against 28 for E-510.
