Early battery discharge of Seagate Wireless Plus 1 TB

I am unable to find any solution for early battery discharge of Seagate Wireless Plus 1 TB. It is a portable drive with wifi support in it. I am trying to watch some videos and within 2 hours the battery fails. What can be the reason. When I bought it was giving me around 4 hrs of battery life. But after that the issue is more constant. It does not even remain constantly on for around 2 hours. Is there way a to improve the battery output.

It is a hardware issue. If your drive is under warranty then take the same to your nearest service center. You will get a fix for that. This type of portable hard drive are not having much life. Especially the hard drive. It will drain out fast when you keep on using them. You have to use it when you had connected it your pc. In this way the battery will keep on charging and when you are out you have maximum power left.

There is nothing we can do for the portable hard drive. It is having a damage battery and it will not fix on its own. The most you can try is calibrate the battery. You have to disconnect the drive from charging unless the entire battery is dried. The drive will turn off automatically. Then you can try charging it to the maximum. I do not think this type of drives are having any battery indicator. That is why people overcharge it.
