MoboGenie unable to identify Lenovo A369i

I want to backup my Lenovo A369i smartphone. This phone is budget model that comes with Android 4.2.2 OS. I found MoboGenie software on the web. I had used this for LAVA last time which worked well. But this pc suite is not able to find my find. It just stick on connecting device screen. It is almost a hour the device is still remain undetected. Is there some issue with my phone or this tool is not updated.

Try to change the usb port. Hook the phone on any other one. Also see that you had installed MoboGenie apk in the phone. You have to install that first to use the phone and also you have to turn on usb debugging. Without that the tool is unable to detect the mobile phone. I had seen many people face this problem because they do not turn on usb debugging. You have to in Settings > About and tap 7 times on the build number.

This can be a driver issue. Turn on usb debugging. After that when you connect the mobile phone to your pc you will get a popup menu for drier installation. If this drivers are properly installed then mobogenie or any other pc suite application can identify your phone. But if this is not detected then you cannot do anything. It is a common issue with some phones which are not having appropriate usb driver.
