Wifi issues with Acer Aspire S7-391 laptop

I am using a Acer Aspire S7-391 laptop and whenever the laptop goes into sleep and when I wake it up then it will not reconnect to the Wifi. I have already checked that I have the latest version of the driver installed in my laptop. I am very disappointed about this laptop since I expected it to be a good device at the price and brand it was offered to us. Do you know any solutions to solve this issue? Thanks

Try to enable the IPv6 on your wireless router and see if that works. To do that you need to right click on the network icon and then choose Open the Network and Sharing Center, After that select "Change Adapter Settings". Now in the Network Connetions window, choose the "Local Area Connection" for the onboard NIC and then "Change settings of this connection" or file > properties. Go to the connection property page and then check box for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).

I actually installed the latest driver version of 10.0.0.217 which did not fix the problem for me. So, I just went ahead and did a full uninstall of the wireless driver from the Uninstall a Program feature and then restarted my laptop. To my surprise the older version 10.0.0.75 of wireless driver got automatically installed in my laptop. After that I didnt face any problem with wifi connections again.

Yes, try to roll back to 10.0.0.75 version of the wireless driver and it will solve the issue. Just search for Device Manager in Windows Search. After that go to Device Manager and then search for Network Adapters. Under the same option, right click 'Qualcomm Atheros AR5BMD222 Wireless Adapter' and choose Uninstall option. Just select Yes to completely remove that version of the driver and restart your system. After the laptop boots to Windows, it will default to the 10.0.0.75 wireless driver.
