Lenovo IdeaPad Z500 vs Lenovo IdeaPad Y500

Among IdeaPad Z500 and IdeaPad Y500 which one is good. Both are high end series laptop and the configuration looks great. I am not so good in finding out the performance difference. I have to suggest a good laptop to my cousin who is looking for a gaming system. He is going to run dual monitor on it. The the other will be a 27inch screen gaming monitor so I need the one which can be powerful.

IdeaPad Z500 looks promising to me. It is cheaper than IdeaPad Y500 and offer you 1GB graphic support. In terms of hardware comparison the second one is the most highest one. But if we talk about budget then Ideapad Z500 is almost giving us whatever we need.

Well it depend on your need. If you are looking for budget solution then there is nothing better than Ideapad Z500. Here you have a 3rd Gen Intel Core i5-3230M processor. Which is latest and capable of running all latest games. The ram offer is 4GB with 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M gpu. Overall this machine fits well under gaming. You can enjoy great gaming output on the same. But I found the laptop a bit overpriced. It is almost costing around Rs.44000. And if you go with a desktop you can build up a more cheaper one. I am talking about custom build here. I think you can build up a good gaming desktop around Rs.35,000. I do not prefer to go with laptops in terms of gaming. This is because of overheating issue. In desktop you have more choice for running fresh upgrades. But in laptop you don't have much choices for getting new upgrades. It remains limited in terms of use. I will advice you to choose the lower model which is more better.

IdeaPad Y500 is the most high end among both the models and I will recommend you this one. Once you bought this one I do not think you really need to go for any other future upgrades. It offer you 3rd Generation Intel Core i7 processor which is quiet amazing.

I will also remember Ideapad Z500. This laptop has almost all you need. It has amazing hardware configuration with good output. It can run all latest video games. You are getting a 3rd generation Intel Core i3 processor on that. With 6GB ram and 1Tb storage. So that looks more than enough. And for gpu you are getting around 2GB of graphics. You can run all new games at highest settings on it. I have a Dell Vostro system which has 1GB of graphics and Core i3 2nd generation. Still I am able to play all latest game at lowest resolution settings. I had turned off all unwanted settings which had improve the game performance and made it more better in terms of output. If you are planing to go for overclocking then you must go for Ideapad Y500 or else it is not really needed. You can get a good output from Z500.
