Sony Xperia Tablet Z freezing while playing game

My friend just recently bought Sony Xperia Tablet Z. It is simply amazing in terms of look. We had installed a tons of games in it. The last game we were trying to play was modern combat. But there was a issue in it. It was really slow. At start the performance was just good, but now it is very slow. The menu also takes a long time to appear. I hope this device is not faulty.

Remove the applications. This will clear the tablet memory and will boost the performance. Try to use a few number of apps only. The more you will install the more slower tablet will be. There is no issue with the device here.

It is a common issue. As you said you had installed a huge number of games in it. You have to take care that you use a few apps and when you do not need them you can remove it. I am having a Micromax tablet. It is quiet poor compare to Xperia Tablet Z. At a time if I ram more than 4 apps it starts freezing. So I did one thing. When I play games I complete it and remove it. Just run complete factory reset and see the performance will be restored. But remember that it will wipe out everything. This the best way to improve performance. Any tablet you buy if it is overloaded with many apps and theming stuff it gets slower and slower. If you just want to play games then try to play one or 2 hd games at a time. Try to keep the tablet turn off a few hours in a day. Major issue with many tablet is overheating. It gets heatup really fast that cause performance problem later on. This is due to lack of ventilation. You can use a battery saver type of app. This app automatically turn off a number of background operation giving out better performance. Run a complete factory restore and then go ahead with simple installation one by one. I think that will be simply more appropriate in fixing the issue.

I do not think tablet like Xperia Z is having this performance problem. You have to check that properly. Xperia Z features good hardware configuration and in terms of multi-tasking this tablet is really great.

You are right. This tablet features a powerful processor and huge amount of ram. But as said above if you simply overload the tablet with tons of additional thing then it will surely slow down. I am going to provide you some optimization tips which will help you fixing the issue. The first thing is simply disable unwanted theming stuff. Like live wallpapers. They are battery consuming and also slow down the tablet. Do not add un-necessary objects on the home screen. Keep it clean and clear. If you get any update just install it. Updates makes the tablet more stable. Use a good app killer application. I am using Task Killer. This app turn off background application at a specific time interval. So even if you forget any app to close a Task Killer will turn it off. From app manager turn off the app which you are not using. Or just remove them. That is more better.Performing app update is another good way of fixing performance issue. New updated apps are better. If you are using a memory card then use a good one. There are cheaper cards available in the market. You can buy a good high speed card that will boost the app output. Do not add widgets on the screen. Turn of sync. If your phone has a settings to manage animation scale set that the minimum.
