Nokia Lumia 625 leaked specifications

We have saw few videos past weeks where Nokia teasing about their next launch, Lumia 625. As its name suggests, this is the upgraded version of Lumia 620. However in specifications, it is bit more and better than 620. Nokia is made the device featuring 4.7 inch WVGA IPS LCD screen with 2.25D curved Corning Gorilla glass 2. The display offers 800 x 480 pixels resolution with 201 ppi which cannot be said the best but it is better than Lumia 620 and 520. Also as of now there is no word about the pricing but if it is under budget, then the screen is quite good.

Running on Windows Phone 8 Lumia 625 is powered with 1.2 GHz processor with the same 512 MB of RAM and Adreno 305. Except the RAM and GPU, they have increased the processor from 1GHz to 1.2Ghz and that also from Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8227 which is capable to provide better performance and multitasking. In terms of camera, the device comes with the same as it was in 520,620 and 720. Featuring 5 Megapixel at rear and some VGA camera at the front. However the camera is not capable to record FULL HD videos unlike earlier devices.

Lumia 625 is running on 2000 mAH battery which is also improved and is capable to offer battery life of upto 10 to 12 hours in usage mode. As per storage we get 8Gb built-in and can be expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD Card. The device may get released probably today or by tomorrow.

Thanks for the info buddy but can you please tell me if this phone is released in India? because i am not able to find it anywhere, neither in retail shops nearby me nor on online vendors like Saholic or Flipkart.

Well last week Nokia only launched the device officially, they haven’t started it shipping. Most probably the device will start shipping in quarter 3 in countries like China, India, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Latin America and many other markets. So if you are waiting for Lumia 625, you will have to wait for more couple of months.

Damn, that’s a bad news for me. I saw some review videos on youtube and I just love the phone. Though it has mid ranged specifications but still there are many features, specially the camera and that is why I wanted to buy the same.

Yep, the phone will cost about Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 19,000/- in Indian Market. While in Europe it is set for launch at £200. Not bad at this price, isn’t it.
