with XT912, is it possible use 3G with WCDMA

    Somebody help!

i bought Verizon XT912 at China and used at China with CDMA/China telecom. no problem at that time.

then i brought back it to Japan and going to use it Docomo band (WCDMA(HSDPA/HSUPA):800/2100MHz)

i can use phone and SMS, but not 3G connection.

    System version is 6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US
    Android 4.0.4
    Baseband version CDMA_N_05.11.01PLTEDC_U_09.11.00

i bought sim unlock code through, but it didnt work.

    also i tried RadioComm, NG

I change 'prefered network type' with phone info. no meaning.
also factory reset had done several time...
at phone info, network type is HSDPA:9

Is there are any other way to use 3G at WCDMA? is this phone special by Chinese?

Have you tried Docomo access point names (APN) of the Japan Country. There are many settings available and you can find the same by searching it on google. Check below for instance:

    • Cellular Data
    APN: "www"
    Username: blank
    Password: blank

    •MMS
APN: "gcpre" or "gcpos" (prepaid or postpaid)
    Username: blank
    Password: blank
    MMSC: "http://mmsc.guamcell.csky.us:6672/"
    MMS PROXY: "209.004.229.082:9201"
    MMS Max Message Size: blank
    MMS UA Prof URL: blank

The below was given on the xda-forums, for the Docomo Japan Apn Settings:

[3G APN data, 3G通信 APN 設定]
APN: (Setting -> Wireless controls -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names. 設定→ワイヤレス設定→モバイルネットワーク設定→アクセスポイント名)
3G APN settings for NTT DoCoMo Bizhodai (for regular 3G use)
    APN: mpr2.bizho.net
    Name: Mopera U (Biz ホーダイ)
    (leave everything else as default)

3G APN settings for NTT DoCoMo SP Mode users (for regular 3G use)
    APN: spmode.ne.jp
    Name: SPモード
    (leave everything else as default)

3G APN setting for NTT DoCoCo Mopera U setting (not for any other data)
    Name: Mopera U 設定
    APN: 0120.mopera.ne.jp

PS: Even I dont know what the other languages mean or how to insert that.

    Thanks

and sorry for my incorrect information.

Actually I'm using MVNO(Mobile Virtual Network Operator) "b-mobile", not DOCOMO directly. "b-mobile" is using Docomo's radio.
So APN is different. My setting APN is for b-mobile and I already confirm with b-mobile several times...

Well, then you will have to call and ask b-mobile whether they will support 3g connection and will give you some apn settings about it as well. Otherwise get yourself a new registerd sim card from within the country and you will get the 3g connection facility without any issues.
