Well, the HP Pavilion G6-2222TU comes with a Intel Core i3-3110M Processor and has also got memory upto 2 GB DDR3 which is running at 1600 MHz which is not bad at all which can be also upgraded to 8gb ram. Only side effect is the Integrated Graphics that is being used on this laptop, which will not be good for gaming and intense video editing, rest all of its specs and price of 35,000 Rs. is not bad at all.

The hp pavilion g6-2222TU has 3rd Gen Intel Core i3 Mobile Processor i3-3110M (Dual-Core) processor. Does it make any difference in terms of performance when we compare it with regular i3 processor?

3rd Gen Intel Core i3 processor is based on Ivy Bridge technology and definitely have more processing power than the regular i3 processor. The 3rd generation processor will be much faster and cooler which is a plus point in the laptop. I have also heard that all mobile Ivy Bridge CPUs have the Intel HD 4000 or HD 3000 graphics which would be decent enough to play some heavy games as well.

Yes, it has Intel HD 4000 Graphics card. I forgot to mention the clock speed.

The clock speed is 2.4 GHz, 3 MB SmartCache.

Does is still better than the regular i3 processor?

I have already mentioned that 3rd Gen Core i3 processor have slightly more processing power in comparison with the regular i3 processor. 3rd Gen Core i3 processor are also based on Ivy Bridge technology which consumes less power and also have somewhat powerful built in gpu compared to the first gen of i3 core processor. The choice is upto you, which you want to go for.
