Nokia 808 PureView Vs Samsung GALAXY S III

Guys I am willing to get a new phone for myself, I have carried out my research and have landed to Nokia 808 PureView and Samsung GALAXY S III. I am not android savy and currently I am quite confused between these phone. I am getting Nokia 808 PureView for 30k where as Samsung GALAXY S III for 34k at my place. What will you all suggest??? Which one is better???

Both phones are good but GALAXY S III design and body doesn’t look impressing. I don’t see much difference between them, the biggest difference is camera. Since Nokia 808 PureView has 41 MP sensors one can take crispier and clear image. So if you want to have a good looking and best camera phone than go with 808 PureView else go with S III.

I won’t suggest you anything but I’ll just highlight my comparison.

Design:
Samsung Galaxy S III has a classic design even though it is slimmer, so design wise it is better

Display:
Galaxy S III and 808 PureView both have AMOLED screen but 808 PureView has ClearBlack anireflective layer on the top because of which its screen appears brighter, so in display is 808 PureView the winner.

Interface and functionality:
Galaxy S III has better Interface and functionality, S III is quite smooth and none of reported any issue while installing applications where as on other hand some people have reported that 808 PureView screen stutters while installing application for that while.

Internet and connectivity:
Galaxy S III again wins here because it has better browsers compared to 808 PureView. There’s no pixel density difference but the stuttering and slow browser on 808 PureView is leaving it behind.

Camera:
Nokia is clearly winner with its huge 41MP sensor, I don’t think I need to add anything more here.

Call quality and battery:
Even though Nokia 808 PureView has stronger and cleaner call quality its not better as Galaxy S III’s. Galaxy S III has better battery as well, it can live up for 12 hours on a charge in 3G mode where as 808 PureView's will die within 7 hours.

Personal Conclusion: GALAXY S III is much better

• It has bigger screen
• It has 720 x 1280 px screen

• It has better download speed up to 21 Mbps
• It has better battery - 590 Hours in idle condition

There are several reason to go with GALAXY S III, these are the ones ive found:

• 1024 MB - Lots of memory (RAM)
• 4G - Latest network technology
• V 4.0 - Better Bluetooth support

If you don’t mind paying some extra bucks for GALAXY S III, than it will surely be the best choice. I don’t think paying 30k for Nokia 808 PureView will be worth. I have gone through several articles comparing these Smartphone’s and the only place where 808 PureView is winning is its High resolution - 41 MP camera and transmitter.
