Want help to delete all data from Blackberry before selling

Hello guys I am having the Blackberry curve 8530. I want to purchase the iphone 4S and also want to sell the Blackberry. One of my friend is ready to purchase my phone but the problem is that I want to delete all the data from the blackberry. I don’t know how to remove all the data from the phone. I have removed the contacts and the messages from the phone but still I am scared that whether he can restore the phone and retrieve my data.

I want to format the full phone along with the memory card. How do I delete all the from the Blackberry? Please Help me.

1. In the home screen select options
2. Next select the security options
3. Click on the general settings
4. Press the menu key
5. Click on wipe handled

Here is the easy way to remove all the data from the Blackberry curve 8530.

• Open the Menu
• Click Options and in that select the Security Options
• In security options select the Security wipe option
• Check the Emails, Contacts and other things which you want to delete.
• Type blackberry and confirm it
• Now click on the Wipe to erase all the data from the blackberry.

This will delete only the data which you have selected in the options. If you have unchecked any of the options then it will remain as it is and it will not get deleted from the phone.
