Is it worth to buy GoTech Android Tablet

Hey guys I have found that the GoTech has launched some three to four tablets recently and I have checked out some of them and they are appearing to be great as they are quite cheap with the specification that they are providing at this rate. SAo first of all I wanted to know that will it be worth getting these tablets if no then why and if yes then why?? And which one seems to be the best among the ones that has been launched?? Any help regarding the same will be highly appreciated.

See I won’t say whether it is worth getting them or not but I think that one can give them a try. Most of the people are afraid of getting such new brand tablets. I think that the Funtab Fusion tablet which is said to be having a price of 3,999 is worth giving a try. One can compare it to the Aaksah tablet as well, according to some blogs I have found that the GoTech is aiming to sell 10,000 units of Funtab Fusion and Fonetab tablets in the next quarter. The tablet is said to be basically for fun and education.

In order to sell the devices, company is taking some educational institutions in their account. So I don’t think that they will be available so soon in the market but among the Funtab Fusion and the other Fonetab I think that people will prefer trying out Funtab Fusion as it is just costing 3,999 and providing the below interesting features and specifications:
    • 7 inch resistive screen,
    • TFT-LCD is 16:9 wide,
    • Dual touch facility with 800 x 480 resolution,
    • 800 Mhz processor CPU,
    • Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System,
    • 256MB RAM,
    • 2 GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded to 32GB through a micro SD card,
    • LAN 10/100M Ethernet Access,
    • Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0
    • Supports 3G via External Dongle,
    • Comes with 1 USB Port, TF CARD slot and 3.5 mm audio jack
    • Front VGA camera,
    • Support for JPEG / BMP / GIF
    • Supports MP2, MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, MPEG1/2/4, MJPG, H263 and H264.
    • Runs on a 2800mAh battery.

Re: Is it worth to buy GoTech Android Tablet

According to the price and specification of the FunTab 7.1 Fudge, FunTab 9.1 Fantasy, Funtab Fusion and Funtab Fonetab I think that the Funtab Fonetab is a better one, I mean it is worth paying 6,999 for it, I am willing to get the same but then as one has mentioned earlier that we will have to check out for their availability in the stores as they are said to be specifically meant for students and teachers across India and it will take time for them to reach the stores. The FunTab 7.1 Fudge, FunTab 9.1 Fantasy are a bit high end as compared to Funtab Fusion and Funtab Fonetab but then compared to Funtab Fusion the Funtab Fonetab will be a better choice, paying 6,999 for this specs is surely worth:
    • 7 inch resistive screen
    • TFT-LCD is 16:9 wide
    • Dual touch facility with 800 x 480 resolution
    • 800 Mhz processor CPU
    • Android 2.2 Operating System
    • 512 MB RAM
    • 4 GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded to 32GB through a micro SD card
    • LAN 10/100M Ethernet Access
    • Wi-Fi (802.11b/g IEEE802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.1
    • SIM card slot to make a phone call
    • GSM 900/1800 frequency support
    • Supports 3G via External Dongle
    • USB Port 2.0, a mini USB 2.0, TF CARD slot and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
    • Front VGA camera
    • Support for JPEG / BMP / GIF
    • Supports MP2, MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, MPEG1/2/4, MJPG, H263 and H264.
    • Runs on a 3600mAh battery

What do you guys think about the same???

Re: Is it worth to buy GoTech Android Tablet

Hey thanks for sharing about the FunTab 7.1 Fudge, FunTab 9.1 Fantasy. I was really not aware of them before as I had just checked out some blogs revealing the latest and cheap Funtab Fusion and Funtab Fonetab tablets. Anyways I have checked out the reviews of the FunTab 7.1 Fudge, FunTab 9.1 Fantasy and I am still not satisfied with it. So I will be getting Funtab Fusion when it will be available and if it satisfies me then I will go for Funtab Fonetab or FunTab 7.1 Fudge, i doubt many people would have bought FunTab 9.1 Fantasy as it is quite costly taking in to account that it is a new brand starting its production in the market but then after going through all this I think that Funtab Fonetab or FunTab 7.1 Fudge will be surely worth giving a try.
