How to delete Images on iPad 2

I do not have the option to delete photos from my iPad... can someone please help..... I click on the photo, the click on Edit... but there is no delete option... :-(

If those images/photos were synced with your computer than you cannot delete it on your iPad 2. You'll need to move them back to computer in order to remove them from your iPad.

Other images like taken from websites or saved from email attachement or taken via camera connection kit could be deleted right from your ipad. You just need to open the image and click on the trashcan icon in the top right corner.
