My dell M1330 XPS laptop is not detecting DVD when it is booting

Dear frnds. I am facing problems when am installing opensuse software in windows-7. I have downloaded the opensuse linux version and i have written to DVD. I want to install this on my windows machine. when am booting my pc its not detecting DVD(usually pc will ask boot from DVD). please help me in this issue. its very urgent for me.

Can you try using any different bootable CD/DVD to find that your DVD drive is OK. Second thing did you set the first boot device as CD Rom from bios. I will recommend you to check this settings one more time. It is possible that your first boot priority might be set to hard drive which boots the laptop to operating system. Second thing you can try checking the disc which you had created. Is that burned properly. How did you create that DVD, from ISO file or by burning opensuse files manually.
