HTC One V showing small ring of yellow spots on the screen

I just wonder is this only me who is facing such problem or somebody else as well with such kind of strange problem in their phones? That’s what I want to know from you. Well I am seeing some yellow spots on the screen and I just wonder what is that, do you all have any idea about the same then tell me because as soon as I got this phone I am getting to see a thin layer of yellow spots surrounding the screen and it is really visible when there is a white background in the phone. so that’s what makes me think am I the only one with the problem? Or is there somebody like me who is getting to face such problems. So that’s the reason why I have made an entry on to this forum to ask some questions to you all about this.

This problem existed with the HTC One X as well when it had launched forcing many of the users to return back their devices to the service centers and get a new one. So is the same thing happening with the HTC One V as well? Please send me some reply. I am waiting for the response from you all.

Dude take a chill pill that’s just a kind of glue which holds the screen together that it is showing you up otherwise there is no problem at all. You know this problem exists in majority of the Smartphone’s when they are newly launched but allow it to dry for someday and then such problem will not exist in the phone. In case if it continues then you better get the phone replaced that’s what I can tell you. So do wait for few days and I think the patch should go out easily. That’s what I feel.

Where exactly are you seeing such kind of spots is it in the edges or in the middle of the screen? If you are seeing in the edges of the screen then you don’t need to worry it is a spot which is caused by the glue that holds the laminated screen with the glass. If you find the spots in the middle of the screen then there is a reason to worry for you as it might be caused the LCD screen foil. The LCD screen foil is caused by frequent drops of the phone or if your phone gets heated easily then you will get to see the LCD foil In the middle of the screen. The problem is that you can’t do much about it, all you can do is get the phone replaced. If the HTC people out there are generous then they will replace otherwise it will go for maintenance I suppose. But with the description that you have mentioned out here it looks to me as that it would be a issue caused by the screen glue. However do look in to the suggestion and comment what exactly is the case.

Yes they are in the edges and nowhere else. I should breathe easily now. Not even you all many of my friends confirmed about the presence of glue which is causing the yellow spots on the screen. So that’s why I am bit relaxed now. Did you all know this kind of problem existed a long back even iPhone 4 had such kind of problems and they had to be convinced from the apple service center that it is just a glue and nothing else. However the strange thing is that such kind of problems does not exist with majority of the phone. does it have anything to do with the screen that is used for the phones or something is that what are you talking about? That’s what I want to know? Since many of my friends own a Samsung galaxy note he did not get to see such problem and the screen used there is a Amoled one while this phone uses the SLCD one. So do the changes in the screen makes any kind of difference at all? That’s what I want to know?

Please tell me something on this.
