How to port Sense 3.6 on HTC One S

The HTC one S specs says that this phone previously comes with Sense 4.0 ported. It is really a good thing but I had lot of experience with HTC Sense 3.6. So I would like to port Sense 3.6 in this phone. Do you think that it is possible? I never tried it yet

I don’t think so; it is not possible with Android ICS unless you want to downgrade Gingerbread via a custom ROM. In order to port Sense 3.6 on this phone, you have to root the phone by installing custom ROM otherwise the phone will not allow you to do any kind of modification or downgrade things. The best thing about HTC one S is, the Sense 4 is tightly integrated with Android ICS. So there is no possibility that earlier Sense version will work with ICS.

What you are thinking is completely wrong. You don’t need to downgrade to gingerbread in order to get sense 3.6. It is already available in all "older" HTC handsets and they are being upgraded Ice Cream sandwich. HTC upgraded the HTC Sense because their customers do not get confuse with their handset. By just seeing the HTc Sense we can easily recognize which version of Android OS running in your phone. This is the best ever thing ever come across the HTC. The Gingerbread contains Sense 1.9, 2.1, 3.0 and 3.5. So definitely the sense 3.6 will work with Android ICS.

Sense 3.6 (very nice by the way). In fact it is ICS based. ICS was originally supplied with a ROM, and it confuses the OS and ROM. Sense is a ROM designed by HTC to give added value to the product. Through this interface, HTC stands out from its competitors (besides Sense is recognized as one of the best ROM market, even though she eats a lot of resources). So if you buy an HTC phone, you will inevitably base Sense and all that will be displayed on the screen will be unique to the interface Sense (but in the end we often find the same things).

HTC is preparing its transition gradually to Ice Cream Sandwich. In this process there is an essential, integrated interface that takes mobile. This is precisely what makes it, despite having the same operating system; there are differences between devices of different brands. In this case, there will be differences between smartphones from HTC, as among those who will be updated or Ice Cream Sandwich, some will have the interface Sense 4.0 and others Sense 3.6. We have already seen how the 3.6.

For now, Android Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0 interfaces seems to be reserved for HTC One mobile family while all other devices, those born with Gingerbread and now go to ICS, shall be equipped with Interface 3.6. Recently I have heard that some older HTC phones would be updated to the latest version of Android operating system.

In recent days, two interesting stock ROMs have been leaked, from the HTC one X and the HTC S one . Both smartphone’s ROMs can already be useful. ROM cooks can now take these two ROMs as a base for their custom ROMs and do your best to cook ROMs. ROM of the HTC one S leaked is very gratifying. If the ROM of the HTC One X ported to the sensation, you have to adjust the resolution and the size of individual icons, widgets, and generally of all the graphical elements. This work is in connection with the ROM off of HTC one S. We are therefore really interesting to see which ROMs are published in the near future. If good and suitable for everyday use Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 ROM based on the HTC one S will be there. Of course - there are already some, but they are not in our opinion, even for everyday use.
