It seems to me that in my case I cannot install the firmware, unfortunately. Right now my BB 9900 running 7.0.0.585. I have installed the 7.1.0.267 firmware, but nothing happens to the phone. The BB Desktop software does not show a new firmware update is available. It seems to me that it does not recognize the file at all and rattles default by sync.
