What are you talking about the iPhone 4S has it, UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz) ,GSM / EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz).so what is the meaning of this question where iPhone previously has the 3G network.

iPhone 5 or iPhone 4G would not necessarily throw in a single model. As had happened with the iPhone, Apple could be reserved to present surprise this year, at least two future editions of the iPhone. One of the issues, presumably cheaper, would be compatible with 3G networks, while the advanced version, by contrast, take a step forward, switching recognition LTE or 4G networks.

This is a huge different between the AT&T's FAKE HSPA+ "4G" and REAL LTE 4G. And the actual LTE 4G. The iPhone is the HSPA+ compliant however that doesn’t make it the LTE 4G compatible so it is HSPA+ is 4G, although it's actually only the 3.5G. Verizon and AT&T together have true 4G LTE, however Verizon has it almost countrywide, and AT&T only has it in select cities.

Phone 3rd generation Apple all observe that it has support at the speed 4G LTE, this includes the ability to create hotspot in the same varies from company to company. Verizon and AT & T is the carrier exclusive iPad 3 within the U.S. and both carrier hotspots offer this capability, although it was unknown whether the same would be offered in the new iPhone or not. Apple devices can be connected to 4G LTE networks. Until now, this moment may seem far away, Qualcomm has introduced a new series of chips that can work with both 3G and 4G networks can be integrated into the new iPhone 5?

4G licenses, used to deploy mobile broadband, will be sold at excessive prices to operators, the state wanting to make the most of the value of the frequencies. The use of WiMAX could be a real alternative to 4G for both operators. If manufacturers do not necessarily bet on WiMAX, this standard could play an important role in the coming years to address the diffusion of mobile networks. Indeed, the increase in mobile traffic is so strong that it will mobilize all the resources available to respond.

I think the iPhone will be 5 compatible 4g lte but operators will take time to adapt. It would be a shame for Apple to forego the 4G, which certainly in France is not, but the USD is omnipresent, and Apple has already picked it up elsewhere.

The operators are already struggling to make a comfortable and efficient network to 3G, while the 4G can imagine, 4G in the United States. It is not widespread 4G, AT & T has not even completed the deployment of 3G and the highly urbanized areas, the 3G is not enough demand. That scream loudly in NY and SF.

Re: Does iPhone going have 4G compatibility

Large operators like Verizon have announced that their 3G networks will be completely replaced by 4G LTE. Although the whole process will only be completed by the end of 2013. This means that the replacement for 4G LTE in full is about 24 months, provided that all goes well. Given the slow growth of a 4G LTE-network can be assumed that the iPhone 5 may not have 4G LTE support. iPhone 5 may not have the support of 4G LTE.

This is possible. because there is demand for the 4G LTE speeds in large and populous U.S. cities. Satisfying this demand could bring Apple, more money. It is obvious that the iPhone 5 with 4G LTE will cost more than the iPhone 5 without the support of 4G LTE.

Re: Does iPhone going have 4G compatibility

There are possibility of Apple announcing a phone with 4G connectivity in the coming months, and although it is impossible to confirm until they say it on stage, the rumors are increasingly taking harder. There are the report of an operator to show the use of IOS devices with LTE. This does not indicate that the next iPhone will be LTE mandatory, but if it could serve as evidence that Apple is testing the fourth generation of mobile connectivity technologies.
