Which 3G bands are supported for Sony Xperia S?

I am a bit confused as if which 3G bad is supported in this device. Since while checking out some of the websites which gave me information about this phone. I found out that the official sony website showed that the phone is 3G quad band:UMTS/HSPA 850/900/1900/2100. While checking in the gsm arena website it is showing me 2 versions of the Xperia S, the LT26a and the LT26i. I don’t know which one is showing the correct information. What do you all think about it?

I am sure gsmarena would be showing the wrong information and nobody else that’s what I know. Since I have quite assurity in the sony’s official website that they will display the correct information, anyways for your information let me confirm you that UMTS/HSPA 850/900/1900/2100 band and nothing else. If you want more information then better check this link out all your doubts would be answered.

See what I think is that it is a global phone and hence it would not be having the two separate version LT26a and the LT26i. as you have written out there.

Yes I absolutely agree with what the above user is saying over here. so I wont be having any doubt on this at all. I think Xperia would be having the UMTS/HSPA 850/900/1900/2100 supported band and nothing else. So there is no question of other bands coming into existence.

Mistakes do happen with the other websites I just now checked the gsm arena website and they have rectified their mistake. Now it is showing properly. i.e. they have displayed in front of 3G network as UMTS/HSPA 850/900/1900/2100.

So finally everything is solved now.
