I think you might have seen how to shutdown computer using cmd. I am also heard we can shut down our pc with the help of cmd. Can anyone tell me how to shutdown our pc with help of cell phone.

I have heard that one student already have done the practical he posted thread also, I am aware of that. I can tell you how to shutdown our pc with help of cell phone. You should have GPRS enable and along with that please make sure that you have installed Ms Office in your computer. Method which I am going to tell you with the help of this method you can easily shutdown and restart your pc by sending a simple from your cell phone to your computer.
• If you want to shutdown your pc so you have to create a batch file. You can create with yourself.
• For that just open notepad and type below line.
• c:\windows\system32\shutdown -s -f -t 00
• After writing you just need to save this file as down.bat (this will be executable file).
• After that open your Microsoft outlook and make sure that you have already logged in.
• After that you have to set up your Microsoft outlook in such way that outlook should check mails every minute. This would be possible with tool option.
• Then you just click on mail set up and send/receive button.
• After that enter in tools and then click on option button.
• Then click on the file which you had created.
• After that send a message from your phone to email address along with subject shutdown.
• Then your computer automatically will shutdown.
