how to reset the lock screen on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

Seems like I got into some serious issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with me, yesterday night I was messing around with the settings of this tablet. I found that on the default lock screen there was actually a picture of a lock which we are suppose to drag in the circle to unlock the phone. Also I found that we can also create our own pattern or also we can use password or pin to unlock.

Just for a trial and error purpose I tried and made my own pattern. But now I need to restore the original default lock system. Is there any way to get back the original “lock in a Circle” method?

Ooh that seems like you are having the issue which I had the first time when bought a new android phone. I always had several doubts regarding the android phones. And guess what I still don’t know how to change the wallpaper of my phone without getting into the setting option. I use to create several different patterns in order to lock my phone. But I was also easily able to get back to the ordinary default lock method without any issue. Remember for getting back to any default settings you need to know the current existing password or the pattern.

One of the tricks is to try out the factory Reset. I did the same thing when I had this problem.

To changes the wallpaper:

• Touch and hold the screen somewhere where there are no widgets or app icons
• An Add to Home screen pop-up will appear > tap the Wallpapers option
• You will be given with Select wallpaper from window
• Choose Live wallpapers, Media gallery etc
