Access Connection SMS Menu is missing from Lenovo ThinkPad T61p

I am having a Lenovo ThinkPad T61p and it is running Access Connections 5.61 for windows 7 and the problem that I am facing with the same is that the sms menu is missing, I don’t have much idea about the same, so is there anyone who can help me out??? Any help regarding the same will be appreciated.

I think that I can help you out here, I was facing the same issue on Lenovo ThinkPad T61p a week ago and was really running out of ideas but then later as suggested in a forum I had used the Sierra Manager software which is capable of handling the internal WWAN Sierra card and then the problem got solved, if you want then you can try out the same and see if it is helping you out as well or not. I think that you might be lucky with that software as I have tried out the same but then it is not making any difference in my case and the issue is still there, is there any other solution that I can try out to solve this out??? Any further help for the same will be highly appreciated.

I don’t know how come you both are having this issue, I have been using LenovoThinkPad T410 and when I am going in to Access Connections GUI> Tools and after clicking on Mobile Broadband I am able to see the SMS Menu, anyways I just want to know the version of the below programs in your case:

• Power manager
• power management driver
• hotkey utility
• system interface driver

Just check out and then post them here for further help.

In my case I am having power manager: 3.20 and there is no hotkey utility installed, but then I just wanted to know that where I have to check out the driver version and the system interface driver??? I am just able to get the below options:

• SIM
• Account information
• Connection log
• Connect to service provider (which is appearing to be grayed out)

What do you think might be the possible cause in my case???

I was having the same issue previously but then now I have updated to Access Connection to 5.84 and now everything is working fine, if you want then you can try out the same, just check it out guys.
