I had mine phone for a while now and as of the past few days its been saying it charging when not plugged in now it popping up the usb connects page asking if I'm charging or using as mass storage. Does anyone know what may cause this?

Have you tried out the hard reset method?? if not then try out the same and see if it is making any difference, The other thing that you can try out is let the battery drain until the phone gets off and after that charge it to full and then see if it is making any difference or not, just try out these possible solutions and then post back the result that you get.
