How to change boot screen of Nokia N9?

Hello friends, I am using the Nokia N9 and I want to know that if there is some way to change the boot screen of the phone and set that with something else of my choice. I was searching for the same on internet but there was no information on this and so I am posting this over here. If you can provide me some information regarding this then I will be really thankful to you.

I don’t know the exact procedure to do that but Yes, this is possible but for that you will have to enable the developer mode and then root the devices. But before doing this, you must consider one thing in your mind that rooting the phone will void the warranty and you will not be able to claim for warranty if anything goes wrong.

Here are the steps that you will have to follow in order to install boot screen mod and with the help of that, you will be able to change the boot screen.

1. First of all, go to Settings > Applications > Installations.
2. Now, just remove any of the older versions with the help of the remove script and this must be done before the installation.
3. Now, just enable the "Developer Mode" from the Settings > Security and then install the dependencies.
4. Download the Installer zip file and then extract that to PC.
5. Connect Nokia N9 with the computer in Mass Storage mode and copy "boot-mod" folder into the root directory.
6. Go to the "Terminal" app and then type the below code:
   

   devel-su
   rootme [root password; default is shown]
   sh /home/user/MyDocs/boot-mod/install.sh

7. After this, it will install the MOD and your phone will be rebooted.

Thank you so much for your reply and I am surely going to give it a try but before that, I want to know that how can I revert back to the default theme if I required to do that in future.

Just open the Terminal and there type the below code:

rootme [root password; default is shown]
sh /home/user/MyDocs/boot-mod/default.sh

As you do this than your phone will be revert back to the default theme after restart.
