Logitech Media Player cannot play .avi files

Earlier, I was able to play the .avi files from the Logitech Media Player. Recently, I have done the update of the player and from then I am not able to open any of the .avi files from the Logitech Media Player. Is there someone who has faced the same problem with this. I will be thankful to all the helpful suggestion from anyone.

I think that you will need to rescan all the sources and after that that will work without any problem. I always rescan the sources each time I go to the media player. I never had the problem like this.

There is possibility that the AVI files which you are trying to play is corrupted and for that reason you are facing the problem like this. What you can do is, just try to play some other files with that and see if you are getting the same thing again or not.
