Hi , i have Nintendo 3DS and Wii both. Lately my 3DS has been functioning very weird. Is there any chance of getting virus into my 3DS through my Wi-Fi because i have also connected my computer on it? or am i just being too much cautious about it?

For your information, none of the then can have any virus infection by just downloading any software from internet browser. These software are only found on Nintendo’s official website only and are monitored for any such viruses. Wi-Fi does not have the ability to transfer any software from one device to other as it can only provide you the access points for using the internet. Thus you should be relaxed now to use them simultaneously.
Virus can affect any electronic device but there have been no report of any gaming console getting affected by it. There may not be any virus that can do any harm to devices like 3DS and Wii as Nintendo is always keeping an eye on what they create. May be these console were never hacked because they will never get any information from 3DS or Wii that can be useful to hackers.
