Swap hard disk between two identical laptops

I have, or rather had, an HP 6715s AMD Turion X2 Processor 2.0GHz Laptop which has suffered catastrophic damage in transit during shipment. Fortunately I had removed the hard disk.

Will the hard disk work in a replacement HP 6715s AMD Turion X2 Processor 2.0GHz Laptop (if I can find one) without any problems?
