It will be great if there will be a GSM version of this phone, i do not think that there will be a GSM Razr Maxx. You might have heard or read it wrong, if there would be then company would have released with Maxx itself, they would not wait for some time to release it. I have not founded any news for it.

If you are staying in Canada, Europe then you will be able to get it, it is been called as the Motorola Razr, so you can check the local Motorola stores to get it.
