3G/HSDPA does not work in Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

By mistake I have installed the wrong Modem driver in Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. The device has both 3G + WiFi. Now the problem begins. Now I am only use the WiFi function. The 3G/HSDPA+ functions does not work at all. I don’t know whether it happened due to the wrong modem driver or not but obviously the issue has started after installing the driver.

I don’t know how you have installed the modem driver and for what purpose. The tab does not need the modem driver. Everything is previously included in this tab. Anyway there is no turning back and also there is no way you can uninstall the driver. The only thing is to make a hard reset of the device. Don’t know how to do it. Some people suggested me that flashing the ROM. But it is lengthy process which is needs much information and need to follow the appropriate procedure.

If you think that the problem is only with the modem then you can flash the modem by the use of the Odin. It will avoid you to completely resetting the device. Make sure to extract the modem file from the ROM.
