What does New firmware update - Prime - 9.4.2.11 – 20120117 do

today I got this prompt about the New firmware update but I am not sure what this update is targeted to can anyone here be able to tell me what does this update is intended for I would be really appreciating this . in a mean time I will try to find out something by myself and will report back if any progress

Well what do you know? somewhat has altered with the GPS. I just gone external plus with the Wi-Fi off I am having the 16 sats with 11 locked on? It by no means did that previously ? GPS test did show satellites quicker, however couldn't stay locked.. Sitting in my living room. Didn't test outer before or after. As mention, appear GPS in addition to build number have changed.

I look as if to be having a good wifi signal for some cause subsequent to the update. Or perhaps I just had my prime in a somewhat better spot . unfortunately , it’s the same currently... wifi analyzer said I was at -50 dBm and I was at filled bars for a second, almost certainly just a coincidence

I am by no mean have the black bars while I open the recent apps and my browsers are working more easily. I also see the updated GPS software however I've yet to test it. it actually failed all of y browsers. however I did a reboot, and voila, every good now.

Later than I have made the performing my update, one STUFF that I have I saw right off the bat was the blue dot in maps, for my location, was spot on, inside 20m. while before the update, I by no means see the blue dot in maps. Plus my wifi was getting 2-3 bars, after update, consistently 3-4 bars but I wasn't having any issues with wifi before so I'm sure this was nothing different . no problem until now I was at 3 wifi bars before, now it's a 4 time after time. I haven't seen an problem with GPS, it locks right on to me in Maps... don't plan on make use of this for navigation so I would not ever know if that works or not

There Two stuff that I have been notice on this updated. Wi-Fi power has enhanced at least what I can tell previous , The just time I might acquire full strength of 4 bars was while I was in my routers 5 ft bubble. The place where I actually sit at with my Prime might contain 3 or 2 bars. currently I get constant 4 bars now plus rarely does it go down now.

Default browser has been efficient look good and has one new option. The right side at present has 3 vertical dots while I'm sure it was something else. You can now cover an option to have new tabs to be opened in the background. I'm certain extra has been finished but this is what I noticed at a sight.

it seems that it did to some extent have to do something with GPS.

1. Previous to update 6.8.13
2. Later than update 6.9.13

And other stuff that i notice... later the ICS update, i lost riptide GP. after this update, i lost the glow ball game.
